2026 JV game 2

Game 2 Review

Strong Performance. Hard Work. Deserved Result.

Today we fought hard in tough conditions and earned a well-deserved win. We outplayed and outworked our opponents for large parts of the game. Our shape, communication, and teamwork showed real improvement from Game 1.

What We Did Well

  • We worked harder than our opponents and competed in every moment.
  • Our team shape was much more organized.
  • Communication improved across the field.
  • We created multiple goal-scoring opportunities.
  • We protected our goalkeeper well and limited danger.

Key Coaching Points

1. Throw-Ins – No Offside

There is no offside from a throw-in. This is a big opportunity for us. We need to get up the field quickly and take advantage of fast throw-ins to catch teams off guard.

2. Attack Space Behind Defenders

Defenders do not like facing their own goal and chasing the ball. We should continue to play balls into those spaces and win the race. This forces mistakes and gives us a real advantage.

3. Creating Your Own Chances

One of our players showed a great example by driving the ball forward and chasing it down. The defenders did not react quickly enough, and this created opportunities. This is an important lesson — sometimes you create chances through effort and determination.

4. Final Ball Across Goal

When we break through the back line, we need to play square balls across the box toward the far post. This keeps the ball away from the goalkeeper and gives our teammates a better chance to finish.

Final Thought

This was a strong team performance built on effort, discipline, and teamwork. If we continue to work at this level and improve in key moments, we will keep getting better and more dangerous going forward.
